Imperial Yoshieは、スーパーセゾンとベルジャンストロングエールの間をまたいだビールです。ベルジャンストロングエールは、従来、悪魔にちなんで名付けられますが、我々のビールはセイントのようなYosie（友貴の祖母）にちなんで名付けているので、どちらかと言うとセゾンの方がしっくりくるように思います。

砂糖漬けのオレンジに、ほんのりバブルガム、軽いクローブと胡椒の香り。温度が上がるにつれ、段々とシトラスとトロピカルフルーツの香りが感じられてきます。ほんのりとしたパンと蜂蜜の風味と共に、通常のセゾンよりも麦芽の風味がやや強めに感じられます。そのお蔭で、酵母とホップの風味を支えてくれるような深みのある仕上がりになりました。また、少しアルコールの温かみを感じながらも、滑らかな飲み心地です。大体のセゾンと同じく、このビールもドライではありますが、ハイアルコールのトリックにより、より甘さとフルボディさを感じさせてくれるので、寒さを感じる長い夜にゆっくりと楽しめる一杯だと思います。

Imperial Yoshie straddles the line between a Super Saison and a Belgian Strong Ale. However, Belgian Strong Ales are traditionally named after the devil and ours is named after Yuki's saint like grandmother so we felt it fit better as a saison.

The aroma is a mix of candied orange, a bit of bubblegum and then light clove and pepper. As it warms more citrus and tropical fruit from the hops comes out. There is more malt flavor than you would expect in regular strength saison with a light breadiness and a little honey supporting the yeast and hops. There is also a little alcohol warming, but it is still smooth. The beer, like most saisons, is quite dry but the high alcohol level tricks you and makes the beer seem sweeter and more full bodied. It's a fine beer for a cool autumn day.
